Divine Disorder The Unmaking

In the unpredictable land of Pandia, angels heavenly and infernal interfere in the lives of humans, and trivial, man-made gods muck things up at every turn. Modern technology and ancient magic battle it out in cities populated by men and beasts. Penthos falls prey to a mad necromancer. In Scathach, the Darklords command the darkest of elements, and a mysterious Shadow Council is behind the whole mess, secretly maintaining the divine disorder.

In Hyperion City, the delicate balance is about to be disturbed.

When Zebulon Tan, a runic sorcerer at the Gwydion Academy of Sorcery discovers a spell to unlock the gate to Hao, a dimension of pure, destructive chaos, infernal angel Darius enlists Sho Sange and Associates, a motley mercenary firm with a variety of curious and rather embarrassing abilities. While Sho attends to troubling matters in Scathach where he is heir to Darklordship Blood, his associates Xen, a vigilante wizard on the edge of madness, Oni, a maniac with an alarming adroitness with explosives, and Simon, a mysterious gentlemen after whom accidental nudity follows, take the case. While Xen meets Zebulon’s assistant, Sora, and tries not to lose his head, Oni gets caught up with a number of male professors and the destruction of several valuable items, and Simon is excruciatingly embarrassed. Things are going awfully wrong. If they can’t stop Zebulon from opening the gate, the entire world will descend into utter chaos. The god of Poorly Executed Magic Tricks and his friends, Unrequited Love and Minor Inconveniences, might want to start over with better patron powers, but the rest of the world thinks that’s a pretty rubbish reason to die. What ensues is a series of ridiculous events and endless cock-ups which lead to the very brink of complete disaster, unavoidable tragedy, and the unmaking of everything.

The children of the accused must band together just to survive. In Razor City, only the rebel Uprising is willing to stand up to King Scarlet, but their efforts are crushed at every turn by disloyal bounty hunters, bloodthirsty outlaws, Scarlet’s ruthless, vigilant nobles and his cruel son, Dante. Petra Strom has given up hope. Everyone in Razor City has given up hope. When Petra discovers Prince Dante beaten half to death in an alley without any memory of his identity or his past, she thinks she’s finally found a way to force Scarlet to release her brother, Ren, and the other falsely accused prisoners. Planning to ransom the prince in exchange for the prisoners, Petra lures Dante back to the children’s secret compound and convinces him he’s one of them, a lost child called Grey whose family was torn apart by the King. As her lies catch up to her and Grey begins to discover who he really is, the children are pursued by the King’s Marshals, bounty hunters and a deadly assassin whose connection to Scarlet might be the real reason the prince was attacked in that alley. Grey begins to uncover the truth about himself and his father, and he knows someone has to end Scarlet’s tyrannical reign once and for all. He might be the only one who can. As they join up with the Uprising, Grey and Petra realize their fight isn’t just about survival or freeing the prisoners anymore. It’s about taking back the city.

Angel of the Abyss New cover

Abyssium, the mysterious, toxic blue rock mined from the deepest caverns of the Scyllan Sea, can sustain life, power astonishing and impossible machines, and turn men to depraved monsters, hopelessly dependent upon the resource to survive. Duke Julian of Tyr, one of the three tenuously peaceful nations in the Abyssium zone, has become so addicted to the Abyss that he has fallen deeply into debt to Jila, Queen of Varuna, a country rich in the resource and plagued with its own troubles. When Jila refuses to dissolve the rapacious Duke’s debt to her nation, she falls victim to an assassination attempt, which ends in the loss of a young, heroic soldier. Fearing more lives may be lost to the Duke’s hunger for Abyss, Jila engages Kai Vale, an Abyssally augmented mercenary with peculiar abilities. In her quest to discover the identity of her Queen’s true adversary, Kai is pursued by monstrous Ducal guards and meets the dashing Draven Lockley, Commander of neighbouring Leza’s Imperial Guard. As Leza becomes embroiled in the conflict, mercenary, soldier and sovereign run afoul of a guild of assassins, murderous nobles, fantastic and dangerous Abyssal machines, and a deadly man with no face and an inexorable thirst for the Abyss.
